Arrange Cub Scouts in a circle about 20 ft. in diameter.
Blindfold two contestants; give one a rolled newspaper and the other a tin can
containing some pebbles, Stand the two players on opposite sides of the circle.
Explain that when the first says "rattle" the other is to shake his tin can and
then try to avoid the swatter. The first player continues to command the other
to rattle until he succeeds in swatting him squarely. Then the two change places.
The one "who kills the rattler" in the shortest length of time is the winner.
